So heres the current update... I've been wrestling with my PC trying to get a clean, happy version of Windows 7 installed, and I have finally succeeded in doing so. I've got premiere and photoshop installed, so I'm back up to full video editing capacity. The other little joy I have right now is some Attends from 1986 that a reader sent me, I'm going to be showing those off very soon. If you noticed, I was using a different camera than I usually do for my last couple videos, I'm back to only using the GL2, and it's happily in my possession and back out of the pawnshop.
I did have a job interview the other day, and I've been pretty much blown off again. It was at a coffee shop, a really good local chain that does stuff like sandwiches and wine tasting. Anyway, I interviewed last week, they said they'd call me by last Saturday, but they didnt, I've called, gone into all of the locations, and keep missing the managers, and the 2 times I've made appointments to meet the managers, they've flaked on me, so I'm just getting the run around and its making me sad. I looked so good before the interview, had everything ready, great resume, great big smile and friendly, concise answers to all their questions, I know tons about coffee and tea. I feel like I just can't get hired in this town right now, but I have to keep trying and trying until I eventually get a good job, or move somewhere with better oppurtunities and a fresh start, a place where no one knows me as a boy.
The diapers and my computer are making me happy right now, but everything else is pretty heavy. Getting a lot of pretty nasty feedback from other trans people about my LetsGetSRS site, very disappointing to see one subculture hate on another subculture, I thought we were all in this together. I'm going to be doing some new reviews tomorrow, so look forward to that, and I'll try my best to survive through this horrible weather!
