On the long list of things that shouldn’t be in my pants, Spiders is without question near the top. Though I like the idea of a man getting into my pants, I’d rather just leave the spider part out. I don’t think I’m alone in this, I think most people can agree that spiders and underwear just don’t mix, but naturally KimberlyClark ignores their consumers and makes spidey undies anyway.
Spiderman is one of those words that sounds sillier everytime you say it. When the 3rd movie was coming out, I couldn’t help but think to myself how silly culture is, grown adults discussing Spiderman, wearing shirts and boxers and standing in lines, all to see the adventures of a Spiderman or a Batman. I think it was smart to brand the later parts of the new Batman trilogy with the “Dark Knight” moniker mostly because it’s cooler to say, it’s a series that’s abandoned some of it’s schlocky past where “The Amazing Spiderman” seems to revel in it. I think these are both pretty cool paths, though I wasn’t thrilled with the last few spiderman movies and am kinda excited about this new one. I honestly just like hearing people say Spiderman while keeping a straight face.
Blah blah blah new licensed goodnites, they’re the same as before but they have new pictures on them. They seem to only come with the spidey designs in the S-M size, this is likely geared towards larger un-potty trained kids rather than the tween bedwetting market. That’s all I really have to say. I'm not crazy about Spiderman diapers, either. But wouldn't it be cool if they made 'em so when you pottied in them, they would say, “My spidey sense is tingling?” Or even, “My spidey sense is tinkling?”
