Cushy Tushy
Hey there Diapered friends! I'm just home from my new job, it's going awesome and I'm a very happy girl, still diapered, working as a girl in a very transfriendly environment, not making tons of money but doing something I enjoy, I'm a happy girl and will def. keep updating :)

I wanted to show off a new diaper I was sent by the good folks over at ABUniverse, they're called Cushies, and they're pretty awesome. I love the new designs, and it feels like i'm wearing a baby diaper made in my size, compared to wearing an adult diaper with cute stuff on it. Thats good and bad, I love the plastic crinklyness, and this has it, and a very cute and noisy tape strip. They are very much like the baby diapers I've worn in recent years, the motif is very modern generation pampers, but they dont feel cheap, I still feel snug and secure in them and they're most definitely not cloth covered. To reiterate the baby-ness, the back padding, as you can see in the pics, is very bulky and very comfy, I always have a very happy bottom in these. I was sent a few, and wearing overnight and into the day wasn't a problem, the diaper doesn't fall apart. They're very absorbent, I do get that "I'm about to leak" feeling after a couple of wettings, but I wore one for quite some time and never had any problems... I can't wait to test more :)

Pro's
very babyish and colorful, with one very reliable tape.
extra bulk in the bottom area
similar big crinkly one tape diaper from ABU that I love

Con's
isn't "institutional" in look or feel
more modern look compared to the replica pampers ABU has produced in the past

I'm pretty happy with these, I'll be posting a little video soon to show off the diaper in greater detail : )

Enjoy the pics and check these diapers out, the true test of a good diaper is time. They might become the favorite of the AB's out there, I'm definitely going to put these on my list of "Most Wanted" diapers, they get the Riley seal of approval. ABUniverse is always creating new and exciting stuff, I'm excited to see whats next for them, they're easily the leader in the "made by/for ABDL" diaper market, and hopefully this will inspire Bambino and other companies to focus on us as well, only the future will tell...

We are all stars in the ABUniverse
Hey there diapered friends! I just got my mitts on the new SuperDryKids Diaper by ABUniverse, and I made a video!

This diaper is awesome. When I was young, I was always selfishly afraid of a cure for incontinence, because I thought they would eventually just stop making adult diapers. Luckily, we live in a Supply/Demand society, and there's enough folks out there to practically market AB/DL diapers... which is AWESOME, and a reason to not feel so damn lonely all the time.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Bambino was the first company to start making AB/DL diapers, but ABUniverse is also an innovator in the field, more focused on producing replicas of Baby Diapers in adult sizes as opposed to making a brand new diaper. Bambino offers its diapers in 4 sizes, Small to X-Large, as opposed to just the Medium and Large that ABUniverse diapers, but I think most people will just stick with the medium or large of Bambino anyway, I'm tiny and the small is a litle tight, not too tight, I just prefer the mediums. It's nice that Bambino has those though, and I'm sure ABUniverse will *eventually* open up its size chart. Both Bambino and ABUniverse sell boosters, neither of which I've tried but I've heard the ABUniverse super-thick pads are pretty awesome, and they have the "feel and learn" feature to them so they feel more like cloth. The price of both diapers are comparable as well, and if you've tried both of these diapers please comment, I'd love to hear from fellow diaper adventurers :)

Both of these diapers are really awesome, and I can't wait to try more of the Super-Dry-Kids and make an ultimate decision on whats the best AB/DL diaper. I have seen some posts online about shipping issues, but I've never heard anything from friends that order from them all the time, let me know if there's any truth to that and for now they're in the green. If you buy some through my recommendation, let them know, I wouldn't promote something I don't think is awesome, no matter how many free diapers I could end up with. Enjoy the video, and try them out, they get the Riley seal of approval!

personal effects
Hey there friends and fans! Though the video explains most of the following, I felt like writing a bit... so here's the video -

I recently purchased some Kotex Personals, a disposable panty made to add protection to pads and tampons. It isn't really a diaper, it's basically a Depend Pull-Up with no absorbent material. We're talking like 1993 for this, and it seems like it wasn't terribly popular, but pants had higher waists back then so it at least got a chance. The packaging is pretty retro as you can see... my camera's been having issues, so sorry I don't have good pics, I got this picture from Ebay where you can actually find a couple places to buy it. I also really like these Ebay pictures where folks just don't bother photoshopping it, it kinda looks like a lifetouch portrait or a prom picture.

I know I'll eventually get SRS, and I'm kinda glad I won't have to deal with "all that", I simply won't have the parts that make that happen. I remember hearing somewhere "Enduring the pain of childbirth qualifies a woman as a mother", and in that case, maybe the pain of menstruation i what qualifies someone as a woman.
This train of thought, clearly, is complete bullshit. 1st off, the "pain of motherhood" thing came from a mid-seventies book called 'The Homosexual Agenda' and was made as an example of why gays shouldn't adopt. Secondly, I have friends that have been on birth control for so long they almost never had the experience of a period. I hear from my female friends fairly frequently that I'm lucky to not have to deal with "all that", but SRS is going to be pretty intense, so maybe we even each other out.
I've always thought the reason why there seems to be less female diaper lovers than male is due to not being able to make the mental disconnect of diapers from "feminine hygiene products". That sentence didn't come across half as well as I wanted it to, but if I were to write a thesis on the matter it would go something like this "A key desire in Adult Baby/Diaper Lover lifestyle is losing control of genitalia related functions similar to what every genetic woman experiences with puberty" That's probably why I don't go to college, because I'd write thesis's like that.
Maybe I'm missing out on a part of womanhood, but I'm not trying to be like other women, I'm trying to be myself and have my own unique experience, but I will always wish to have grown up as a girl. I guess that's what my interest in regression is all about, I get to be the little girl I never got to be. I was a pretty unhappy child, I didn't show it too much but I always felt heavy, sad, nervous, but when I regress I'm happy with the world. Granted, I'm a happy person outside of little-girl mode (not so much lately, but things always get better?), reliving bits of childhood as a little girl brings a feeling that is a little more special than your everyday happiness, the same kind of happiness I expect to feel from falling in love or accomplishing something of worth, two things that I've yet to do.
So lets go over some things...
Regression is good and healthy? Check.
Lucky to not have to deal with all the cramps and bloating and "all that"? Check.
Would I deal with it and more if it was part of the transition? Absolutely.
I'm starting to experience some of the negative "achey" things about being a girl, but its all worth it, I'm sure it'll all be good in the end. Enjoy the video, thanks for reading!

Starry Ideas
Check out this diaper StarryIdeas.net sent me, it's cloth, has a pretty pattern and was made just for me :) I'm going to be doing a video about it to show you how to put it on, but I wanted to give you a little preview first. This leads into my next post... Cloth or Disposable?

dos videos nuevo!

Pretty sure that means 2 new videos. I've gotten a few emails expressing concern about me stopping this site, I guess I didn't make it clear enough. RileyKilo.com is super-important to me, as are all the little diapered boys and girls and mommies and daddies that read it. It's not going away anytime soon. Enjoy the reviews, more stuff soon, my wrists are starting to hurt from all this typing!

diapers they are a changin'
Oh how I love Kimberley-Clarke for constantly giving me new review material! Everything else about them I can't stand, but at least they did the AB/DL scene a favor by not going the way of every other diaper manufacturer and kept the plastic backed briefs that have provided us with so many crinkles over the years! Here's a visual comparison between the new and second most recent rendition of the Depends briefs

I didn't make a video they're almost identical, except for a few minute differences. The main comparison is that the new ones are a bit softer. They are still crinkly and plastic feeling, just not as loud as the last rendition. I was at a Safeway wearing one of these, and I was happy that I didn't fill up the aisle with a crinkly sound, it was much softer but still crinkly. I'm conflicted, because I like the tell-tale crinkles but the discretion of the diaper probably has made incontinent peoples lives a lot less stressful not having to hide the super-loud crinkles.

The Leg gathers are also a bit different, they're a little softer, and seem to form-fit better

The new Depends also have a little less elasticity when being opened, so they're easier to get into if your diapering yourself (which i'm used to, the lonely, daddy-less little girl I am)

Other than that, they're pretty much the same. After speaking with Kimberley Clarke, they mentioned that the packaging has changed, but the product has stayed the same, but the differences, though small, are there. They still do my favorite things that depends do, the waist band sits right at my belly button, so I get that very toddler like feeling of having a diaper stick out of the top of your pants or skirt. If my shirt moves the wrong way or if I'm reaching something high up, you can see just a little bit poking out and i just love the secure high-waisted diaper feel, makes me feel very little and very care-free :)

I wore something normal to show how the rise is, it can be tucked in. You cant really see it under the pants, but the little tapes stick out most of the time. I like them as much as I did the older ones, I just wish they would crinkle more, but there is always Bambinos and ABUniverse diapers :)

Thanks for reading, more stuff soooooon!

P.S. someone sent me this awesome recording of Dylan in '66 doing "Like A Rolling Stone", I can't get enough of it... and if you don't get why I'm mentioning this, go listen to this. Holds a valuable lesson... "don't criticize what you can't understand"
